Roman's 5th Birthday

I am playing a little catch up on the blog and couldn't miss out on Roman's Bday. Here it is...

There was no question about it. Roman decided to have an Iron Man birthday theme this year. He has loved everything Iron Man for a while now and he was so excited. This was the first year he wanted to be really involved in the whole process, which was fun to experience. He definitely wanted Iron Man at the birthday, a piñata and wanted the party at our house. The toughest task was finding Iron Man. We found a company that had an actor to play him, but they didn't have an Iron Man costume. I then found an Iron Man costume on Craigslist and little did I know it would be a little more complicated than I imagined.

Another awesome cake by Pop. Even included some fondant this year.

Roman was loving playing with all his friends on the trampoline.

The kids are ready for Iron Man

Leanne took good care of the 2 anti-Iron Man partygoers.

Piñata Madness!
Lesson learned: Do not fill up the piñata too much because it will be TOO heavy.
I think it weighed 30 pounds, not easy for the little ones and it broke off a few times.

We had such a special day full of such happiness! There is nothing like having a Birthday party at home full of everyone you love. The best part was Roman had the biggest smile all day long. It was  a perfect day for him, which made it the perfect party. Happy birthday to my Big Boy!
