1st Time Skiing

We had our 1st Ski Adventure as a family and it went awesome. We had no expectations, but were blown away with how excited both kids were to hit the slopes. We were blessed with the best weather, which I think was a huge factor in the kids happiness.

Not a lot of snow when we 1st arrived, but the kids were excited to staying at a cabin.

My happy girl

We were so happy to have Pop with us on vacation

Roman finally found snow at Northstar

We loved spending the afternoon relaxing and playing up on the mountain

Smores at the Ritz. Doesn't get much better than this

Ready to hit the slopes

Papa was so excited to teach Roman and Paisley how to ski

Paisley is ready to go

Snowball anyone?

Go Roman!

Paisley's favorite ride, the escalator

1st chairlift ride

Hi Paisley

After a day of skiing, we went on a little nature exploration around the cabin.

The next morning we woke up to...SNOW!
Paisley has never been in snow, so she loved capturing it in her mouth. It was pretty cute.

There wasn't a TON of snow, but enough to head out sledding right outside our cabin

Even Jason and I made it on the sled

Day 2 of skiing, we realized we needed the harness. Roman really wanted to ski without anyone holding on to him, but we didn't trust him yet, so this was the perfect solution. This is the best invention ever.

While I was skiing with my Dad, Jason snuck Roman off to the run behind us, an intermediate run. Only something Jason would do.

Pop and Roman

Betty took the kids back to the cabin and I got to get in a few runs with the guys.

This was such a fun trip since I loved experiencing the kids trying something new and loving it. Can't wait to head back again next year. We are definitely hoping to become a ski loving family, just like Jason and I both grew up.
