Woodland's Swim Team

Roman was so excited to make the swim team. He has officially moved up from kermit's to the swim team. He has always felt so comfortable in the water and our "little manatee" (his nickname since he loves to just float underwater) and felt like such a big boy to be on the team.

This was his 3rd year on kermit's and this year they had to finish a checklist of about 30 items before they would move them up. He just did time trials and I loved seeing his smile. He actually smiled the whole lap doing backstroke. We can't wait to be cheering for him this summer, but most importantly I love seeing him happy. We are so proud of you Roman! He will have his 1st swim meet this Saturday. Go Roman Go!

Here is little P kicking along in her swim lesson. We are working on her losing "her fear" of letting go. I was proud of her for getting in every day and I think she will be able to be water safe by the end of the summer. We are going to keep her in lessons this summer, which I think will be great for her.

They loved getting their medals after the Kermit's Mini Meet. Paisley wanted to wear her's to bed.

Go Roman! Heather do you feel like a traitor. Squid for life?

Yes, it is very weird not being a squid but I do love it at the Woodlands. Great families. My family now has to be frogs. Paisley is happy since she loves Green.
